This guide includes 240 pages of information separated into first-term and additional full-year organic chemistry material. Each section contains material that also aligns to most organic chemistry textbooks for a seamless addition to study materials for students. Each chapter is designed with an introductory section of the material including common representations and where to find this material in a textbook. The second section provides worked examples of typical, multiple choice questions including how the correct answer is determined as well as how the incorrect answers were determined. Also included for each study problem is a listing of the corresponding practice questions that use that concept. The final section is a series of practice problems to test the concepts collectively. The key is provided on a separate page for all study and practice problems.

Additional Material for Full-Year:
This timed online practice exam is designed for the full-year ACS Organic Chemistry Exam.
The idea is to take this as an exam, a timer is part of the exam, so that the practice exam simulates the timed-test
environment. Students should avoid using notes while taking the practice
test so that the experience is as close to taking an exam as possible.
In addition to answering the questions, the person taking the practice exam
is asked to estimate the amount of mental effort they used to answer that question.
The practice exam system will then provide information about both how accurate
questions were answered, but also how the various topics rate in terms of
challenge the student encounters (as measured by the mental effort estimation).
This combination can help students set priorities for continued study prior to taking the actual ACS exam.
Remember this is a practice exam - it is not a tuturial that walks through organic chemistry questions. It is a one-time use tool (retaking the practice exam will not provide a good measure of preparedness because some of the items will be remembered from the first time it was taken).
